New Sponsors: Fisher and Paykel!
I am pleased to announce that Fisher and Paykel have sponsored the Future Spark Trailer! It is great to have them onboard.
We are using the motors from Fisher and Paykel Smart Drive washing machines to generate electricity on the trailer. These motors are quite efficient and can generate lots of power at low speeds, making them ideal for the bike generators. The motors are also quite tuneable, allowing us to choose an efficient operating point and get the most power from our riders!
