Construction Update

The trailer’s taking a bit longer than expected to arrive, but while we wait we’re getting ready for its arrival. Here’s a picture of it on the 17th of December.

You can see that the tread plate is going in and there are some more steps and fittings in place.

On this end we’re getting the wiring looms ready so that when the trailer arrives we can plug them in and seal them away before the bike stands go up.
We’re also testing out our chosen current sensors in the test rig and getting calibration data so we can get accurate scores for the big competition

G'day, Geoff here. The trailer is looking great! Check out graph E8 (link below) from the Victorian State of the Environment Report:

It shows that the greatest proportion of energy used in Victoria is used by the 'transport and storage' sector.

Have you decided what kind of power you will be using for transport to and from the venue.
All the best and keep up the good work!

    Hi Geoff,

The trailer will be towed to Federation Square by a large Ute, However we are using Greenfleet to offset all the emissions arising from transportation.

    Cheers,
