Knox Council Stringybark Festival and Schools Power Challenge

Congratulations to all the schools that participated in the Knox power challenge.
An amazing total of 14 kWHrs was generated in total. This would have made a significant contribution to off-setting the energy required for the Stringbark festival in October.
St Joseph’s generated the most energy at 2436 WHrs. The other schools are presented in the table below:

Billanook College Environment Day Feedback
We were delighted to receive the following comments from Lance Johns at Billanook College:
“We had a wonderful day with the bikes. The kids had lots of fun and learned something too. Barry was great and very patient with them. We had quite a few classes go through and had a wide variety from science to P.E. to a small group of highly able students who do an extension class. We combined it with some other stalls at lunch time and a petition signing for 350.org.”...
