SLF: The test run a huge success!
The Future Spark trailer made its debut appearance at the Sustainable Living Festival this weekend. It was very exciting to see the finished masterpiece in action!
Many people had a go on the bike trailer, and everyone showed a great deal of interest, wanting to know the ins and outs of how it all works! A lot of people were keen to do their bit and generate a little power for the festival, and also to test out their own abilities as compared to everyone else. It was fantastic to have a bit of healthy competition between some students and teachers, different classes, parents and children and between friends. Over the weekend everyone combined generated 3 kWh. Congratulations!
Whilst this is a fantastic effort, we need a lot more than that to power the Earth Hour Concert! Make sure you get your teams in the team challenge to make sure that Augie March and the Earth Hour Superband have enough power to put on a fabulous show!
